Program (day 1 - 5)

  • 1. Day - Arrival to Prague

Arrival at Vaclav Havel Airport, Prague. Meet & greet by our guide. Private transfer to the hotel, check-in. Rest of the day at leisure. (D)

  • 2. Day - The Best of Prague

Visit the largest medieval castle complex in Europe and enjoy spectacular panoramic views over the historical Prague. Observe the Changing of the Guard at the entrance to the Royal Palace. Visit the Grand St. Vitus Cathedral, the Royal Palace with famous Vladislav Hall and the beautiful St. George Basilica, followed by a stroll along charming Golden Lane with its picturesque houses and small shops. Explore Neruda Street and the Lesser Town district, visit the Church of Our Lady Victorious where you can see the Infant Jesus of Prague, and cross the famous Charles Bridge.  Enjoy a brief walking tour of the Old Town, starting with a visit to Old Town Square, observe the procession of the Twelve Apostles on the Astronomical Clock, see the stunning St. Nicholas Church as well as the gothic Church of Our Lady before Tyn. Admire the Estates Theater where Mozart's Don Giovanni was first performed. Rest of the day at leisure. In the evening enjoy the boat trip on Vltava river – Prague Venice. (B)

  • 3. Day - Prague / Karlštejn Castle

Whole day at leisure, chance for individual sightseeing of Prague and shopping. Possibility of an optional half-day tour to one of the most popular Bohemian castles - the Konopiste Castle or the Karlstejn Castle. Visit the famous Karlstejn Castle that is set over the glittery river of Berounka and travel in time to the 14th century, when the castle was founded by Charles IV. See the place where the crown jewels of the Holy Roman Empire were kept as well as later the crown of St Wenceslas. If you chose the Konopiste Castle, you will have great opportunity to admire the hunting collections and learn about the times of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand d´Este, the successor to the Austro-Hungarian throne. In the evening enjoy a typical Czech folklore dinner in a traditional restaurant with delicious local food and Czech folklore music and dance. (B,D)

  • 4. Day - Dresden

Breakfast at the hotel. A full day trip to Dresden in Germany (approx. 2hour-drive). Thorough tour of the must-sees in Dresden. Tour focused on the most popular monuments in Dresden, as well as on interesting information about the exciting history of the city. Explore the past and present while admiring Semper Opera House, Zwinger Palace, Royal Palace and many more. Take a chance and enjoy one wonderful day getting to know different culture, traditions and also gastronomy, yet in the close vicinity to Prague. In late afternoon, transfer back to Prague. Rest of the day at leisure. An optional Black Theatre will be offered this evening. (B)

  • 5. Day - Český Krumlov  - Vienna

After breakfast, check-out and transfer to the capital of Austria, Vienna. On the way, stop at the enchanting medieval town of Cesky Krumlov. Enjoy the beauties of one of the most visited Czech towns included on the UNESCO list. During your tour, you will explore the hot spots of this picturesque town – the Cesky Krumlov Castle, the baroque Castle Theatre and the beautiful narrow streets of this fairytale town. Discover the renaissance and baroque buildings enclose the meandering arc of the Vltava River, housing riverside cafés and bars. Take a chance and visit the unique castle theatre that is one of the most completely preserved baroque theatre in the world. After that, transfer to your hotel in Vienna. Check-in and free time. Program (day 6 - 9)

  • 6. Day - Vienna

Morning walking city tour of Vienna. This guided tour will give you an overall impression of the most significant historical sights of the city of Waltz. Vienna's historic city centre will be one of the highlights of the trip - it is packed with world-famous sights and monuments related to Vienna's imperial past! Visit the St. Stephen´s Cathedral and the amazing area behind the cathedral with its narrow streets and hidden courtyards. See the house where Mozart wrote his famous opera "The Marriage of Figaro". Then you will walk along the Kohlmarkt, Vienna's most elegant shopping street, resisting the temptation to enter the Demel confectionery and the many designer boutiques. Of course you visit the vast complex of the Imperial Palace Hofburg. Admire the ample wings and courtyards of the palace and see the Heroes’ Square, the Spanish Riding School, the stables of the Lipizzan horses and the church of St. Augustine. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Vienna. An optional Classic Music concert will be offered this evening (Mozart´s and Schubert´s music). (B)

  • 7. Day - Vienna - Budapest

Morning at leisure, last chance to stroll through the streets of Vienna. Check-out and transfer to Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Check-in at the hotel and time at leisure. In the evening enjoy a Folklore dinner in a traditional restaurant with delicious local food, music and dance. (B, D)

  • 8. Day - Budapest

Upon breakfast enjoy a half-day city tour of Budapest, visiting the most interesting and famous sights of the ancient capital. The tour starts with the impressive House of Parliament, proceeds by the Margaret Island via Margaret Bridge up to the Castle District, where visiting the Matthias Church, Fishermen’s Bastion, Royal Palace, and having a breath-taking view into the city from the Citadel. Traverse the river Danube to the more busy Pest side to the Heroes’ Square, passing by the Opera House and St. Stephen’s Basilica. Free afternoon (B)

  • 9. Day - Departure day from Budapest

Breakfast at your hotel. Free time. Check-out and transfer to the Budapest airport according to your flight itinerary. End of services. (B)
